Prep:
Beef: Soy Sauce, Lee & Perrin’s, Chile, Paprika, Cumin, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Sugar, Flour, Black Pepper.
Onions & Bell Pepper: Italian Seasoning, Onion Powder, Salt, Pepper, Olive Oil.
Rice: Black Pepper, Butter, Soy Sauce.
Cook (15 Min): Wok fry the onions and peppers at 375F allowing them to burn slightly. Add the beef and toss everything until cooked (15 Min) and serve on rice.
Obviously if you have Chinese ingredients you would use those instead, but, with only Western ingredients on hand, and a quality wok, this makes for a tasty Chinese style dish. I couldn’t tell the difference.
Notes:
For the ingredient amounts ask “How much of this ingredient would I eat all at once?” and recognize you will be eating that much, whatever you put in, when you devour the whole meal. So usually it’s no more than a part of a spoonful for a strong spice to a couple spoon fulls depending on ingredient.
* Here are the ingredient amounts approximate:
Soy Sauce, Paprika, Chile: 2 tablespoons
Lee & Perrins, Cumin, Italian Seasoning: 1 tablespoon
Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Sugar, Flour, Salt, Black Pepper: 1/2 tablespoon
Onion: 1/2 an onion cut in big strips
Bell Pepper: 1 bell pepper cut in big strips
Beef: 1/2 pound beef cut in small pieces
