ways to make canned Alfredo sauce taste better? I prefer homemade but my mom is making it and she doesn't follow directions well... what can she add?

My mom to be honest isn't a very good cook. She does some things good but she doesn't like to follow directions and she isn't very patient... the last time I tried to talk her through Alfredo sauce its like we were eating warm milk and noodles 🤮 please help me. I want Alfredo so bad!
