Bread Khoya (Mawa) Pudding Recipe ingredients
1- Bread 8 pcs.
2- Butter / ghee 4 tbsp
3- Sugar ¾ cup
4- Khoya ( mawa ) ¾ cup ( 100 gram )
5- Milk 4 cup
6- Egg 4
7- Cardamom ( Elatchi ) ¼ tsp
8- Almond 1 tbsp
9- Coconut 1 tbsp
10- Zarshak shireen 1 tbsp
Method
1- Take bread and cut into small pieces.
2- Take a pan , put ghee or butter in it and fry all bread pieces on both sides.
3- Now add Milk , sugar khoya ( mava ) and cardamom in a pan. Mix it well.
4- Switch on the flame and cook this mixture for 5 minutes until it thickens a little.
5- Now add fried bread in it and cook for 5- 10 minutes more. It absorbs all milk.
6- Shift it in a bowel and let it cool down.
7- Now add eggs in it. mix well.
8- Take a baking tray. Oil this tray on all sides and put all mixture in this baking dish.
9- Preheat oven on 180 degree and bake it for 40- 45 minutes or until it sets.
10- Garnish with almonds ,coconut and zarshek shireen.
11- Serve chill or hot according to taste.
