Here is a basic and easy way to grill seafood without smoke:
Ingredients:
Seafood: fish, shrimp, mussels, scallops, etc.
Seasoning: salt, black pepper, cumin, etc. (to taste)
Oil: olive oil or vegetable oil
Optional topping: fresh lemon or other citrus fruit
The steps are as follows:
Step 1:Prepare seafood,Wash seafood in water and remove guts or shells as needed. Depending on the type and size of the seafood, you may choose to grill it whole or cut it into appropriate pieces.
Step 2: Season the seafood. Evenly coat the seafood with an appropriate amount of olive oil or vegetable oil to add moistness and prevent sticking. Sprinkle the seafood with an appropriate amount of salt, black pepper or other favourite seasonings according to personal taste to make it even more delicious. Other spices and seasonings such as garlic, ginger, herbs, etc. can be added according to personal preference.
Step 3:Preheat the grill pan,Preheat the smokeless grill pan to a proper temperature,adjust the preheat temperature according to the type of seafood. (scallops, mussels 15 minutes can be; fish, shrimp 10 minutes or so), depending on the temperature of their own baking tray!
Step 4: Grill seafood, place seasoned seafood on a smokeless baking tray to ensure even distribution of seafood. Place the baking tray in the preheated grill pan and grill for a period of time.
Step 5: After grilling for a while, use a grill spatula or tongs to flip the seafood to ensure both sides are evenly heated. Continue grilling until the seafood is cooked through and the meat is tender.
Step 6: When the seafood is cooked through, remove it from the baking tray. You can add a tart twist to the seafood by squeezing some fresh lemon juice or other citrus fruit juice over the seafood when it's done grilling, depending on your personal preference.
