Hi everyone! I’m trying to get better at cooking meals for my boyfriend. He is blue collar so he often works 10-12 hours and gets quite hungry. My problem is I’ve been vegan since I was 13, so by the time I was old enough to cook my own meals I wasn’t eating any animal products. I don’t know how to cook chicken, fish, etc. I can do ground beef. I’m not at the point where I can fry food or anything like that.
What are some recipes I can make him that will keep him full for longer? Here’s his taste preferences: - doesn’t like cheese - doesn’t like beans of any kind - doesn’t like tuna - needs to be low sodium due to kidney stones - needs to preserve fairly well in a lunchbox since he works outside/doesn’t have access to a fridge
Thanks in advance for any advice y’all can give! He works so hard and I want to be able to give him fresh meals rather than just frozen foods heated up in an air fryer.
