CHEESY MUSHROOM SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:

Mushroom 300 gm finely chopped

Butter 2tbsp

Oil 1tbsp

Garlic finely chopped 1tbsp

Oregano 1/2tsp

Milk 2 cups

Processed Cheese 1 cup

Salt to taste

White pepper powder 1tsp

All-purpose flour 2tbsp

METHOD:

Serving Size: 4-5

Heat butter and oil together. Add the chopped garlic. Stir-fry for a minute till fragrant and add the chopped mushrooms.

Allow the mushrooms t0 fry until golden brown. Add all-purpose flour and stir-fry till the mushrooms and flour are mixed together.

Pour in the milk and cheese and allow to simmer gently for 5-10 minutes until the sauce has thickened and cooked through.

Season with salt and pepper.

This creamy mushroom sauce can be taken with grilled chicken breast, baked sweet potato, omelette or simply put on toast.
