Lost my spaghetti sauce recipe.

I hope someone can help! I finally bought a blender after not having one for a couple of years. My husband and daughter loved the spaghetti sauce I would make using the blender but I can't find the recipe! Here's what I remember:

Onion and garlic sauteed in butter

Then you add tomato sauce and spices

You put the mixture in a blender and then add a can of whole tomatoes and a cut up fresh tomato.

Blend and then it's ready

I know I'm missing the spices and maybe water somewhere? Please help!
