Trying to find something called "Radio Rolls"

My mother, who is 96, remembers getting Radio Rolls at the bakery when she was little. I'd like to find a recipe and make them for her, but the only one on-line that I can find includes two cups of bran flakes. My mother says that is absolutely not what she had when she was young. They were coiled, and flat, and sweet, and she believes they had to sit in the fridge overnight. They had a glaze topping of some kind — maybe walnuts, maybe cinnamon, maybe maple, and MAYBE "brown sugar glaze", whatever that is. Does any of this ring a bell?
