Pulled pork

Hey there!! I wanted to make some pulled pork but I've never tried to make it on my own before. Honestly, I don't have paprika, apple cider vinegar or brown sugar so I'm really not sure how far I can get without all that. I was gonna half ass it n just throw a bottle of sweet baby rays quite frankly

Also how do I cook it without it burning 💀 do I add water to it? If it's supposed to cook for a good amount of time, how do I keep it from drying out or burning on the bottom n whatnot. I'm so bad at this please forgive me
