This is something I do at the group home I work in for lunch sometimes and somethign my great grandmother did when I was a kid. Extremely easy, quick (about 10 minutes), and pretty dang good taste. You will need:
- One can of any brand "Red beans and rice"
- Half a cup of any brand brown gravy.
- One teaspoon of Cumin
- One teaspoon of Chili Power.
- (optional) one teaspoon of salt
Empty contents of canned beans and rice into a smaller sauce pan. Add half cup of brown gravy and bring to heat. Add both one teaspoon of Cumin and on teaspoon of chili power (and salt if desired). Cook for another 5 minutes while stirring on lower heat.
Ready to enjoy.
