Creamy Mushroom and Mustard Chicken recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp butter
- 200g mushrooms (Portobellini/Chestnut), sliced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
- 100ml double cream
- Salt and black pepper
Method:
- Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper, cook for 5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic for 1 minute, then add mushrooms and cook until soft.
- Stir in double cream and mustard.
- Return chicken to the pan, mix well, and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with herbs and serve with mashed potatoes, peas, rice, or crusty bread.
