I have a ridiculously large loquat tree, think two stories tall almost. They are delicate, so picking them is really cutting the branch with ripe ones and hoping they don’t splatter on the cement below.…I get a few green ones from time to time with the ripe ones. They also don’t ripen much once off the tree.
It looks like it is not advisable to eat them without cooking.
I’m looking for easy recipes that use green loquats.
The easiest I can think of is cooking then I’m my instapot with a bit of lemon to make a purée for baking quick breads.
Any other ideas? I’m not into chutney out jams or fruit pies.
